how do you find the paint code for the front bumper on a 2003 ranger xlt? body code is aq

 

Is the bumper painted the same as the rest of the truck? on my 1999 it has the bumper painted to match the rest. The paint code will tell you the exact color. I actually repainted my frame over the summer and used rustoleum paint from Tractor Supply. I was able to mix Oliver green, Ford blue and a little bit of black and I got my frame almost the exact color as the truck. Turned out really slick and its Rustoleum so it helps with rust. I live in the rust belt so most trucks have some sort of rust on them.

 

I've only seen the bumpers in black, chrome, or same as the body color. I just repainted my black bumpers and the front grill with Dupli-Color bumper and trim paint in black and it turned out like factory. Unbelievably great look. You can purchase it at any automotive store. If it's body color, Dupli-Color should have it available also although you may need to special order it.

 

That's a new one.

I'm not aware of a paint code solely for the bumper.

+1 on Ranger 4.0's recollection of only chrome, black or the body color.

As far as the (original) paint code for the truck, look no further than your door sticker:



"EXT PNT: YZ"

Mine is Oxford White.

Your Code for the body is Arizona Beige. As before, I'm not aware of a different code for the bumper.

Did you get the truck from someone? Possibly they painted the bumper themselves?
