Detailing products

What do you guys use and what have you had the best results with?

I have always liked meguiars products. I usually wax with #6 first to clean up the paint then I put on NXT wax. I think the NXT is the best i've ever used. Only other waxes i've used besides meguiars are zymol and fukken. Zymol seems pretty good but I don't think it lasted that long. Fukken I thought was ok at first but after all it really sucks. Don't need to use my buffer that much but it's there if I need it. Maybe once a year i'll use it on each car.

On the interior I use meguiars #40 for the dash and doors. The seats get meguiars leather conditioner/cleaner (on the mustang). Simple green usually for carpet if needed.

Under the hood, meguiars #40 for a quick detail and CD-2 for a complete.
Always enjoyed detailing. Always feel better when the job is done.

Yeah Ive had the best experience with Meguiars. When ever I get the time to detail the truck I wash it, clay it and then go with either #82 or #83, then lay down #7 and then #21. #21 is the best wax Ive ever used its very similar to NXT but this just lasts so much longer. But all there stuff smells ssssooo guud every time I wash my truck or detail it bugs just get attracted to it because it smells so sweet, and I think our grass is a little greener around our garage lol.... all the other stuff Ive used and had horrible luck with so I just stick with what works best for my application.

Turtle Wax Ultra liquid wax for a nice shine. I use a buffer and it comes out nice with just a light buff.

Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and steel wool for the chrome parts.

Simple Green for the engine compartment.

Back To Black for the black plastic parts, mirrors, handles ect...

I never thought of using Simple Green for the carpeting, thanks for that tip !!

In the past I've used both Meguiar's and Mothers. Both make excellent products. IMO
About 15-18 months ago I started using Adams products. They too make excellent products.
I like them more than Mother's and Meguiar's. That's just my opinion though.
You would have to try their products and see for yourself.
I will say some on their stuff seems a bit on the pricy side to me.
Again, you judge for yourself.

Forgot to mention, Meguiars Hot Shine is awesome for tires. Gives them the really wet look and doesn't attract dirt. I apply the tire shine with a wax applicator. Works well.

Have you ever tried #40 on your tires? I love the results with it.

I use Dri Wash n guard, is the easiest, and leaves a sexy shine as well. 30 mins total and your whole truck looks like my avatar

www.waterlesscarwashproducts.com look in the vendor section for a coupon code, and more info
