Ive been using this stuff for ever, since my dad and i rebuilt old cars, weve used this stuff, its never dull, comes in a silver can and there is cotton in it, you just tear off a piece and go to town....my steel wheels get rusted ALOT in the winter, so hes a before picture of the center cap....
And after like 1 min of scrubbing

That is what I use on my polished aluminum and it works great. Semichrome is great also. The best thing to use is white Mr.clean sponges and if it's good chrome not chrome plated plastic you can use number very fine steel wool and it will make it look like new.

I will deffinantley vouch (sp?) for the stuff. Used it at school when we were cleaning and polishing aluminum props for the local avaition museum. Also picked up some yesterday to use on the bike I just got, can't wait to get the chance to finish it up.

You can buy it at Advance Auto or Autozone. I think that Home DEpot carries it too. Stuff works great! -I used it on half of my aluminum tool box from my full-size F-series. Thats been over a year ago. Still shinin'. Im going to have to use it on my steel wheels for my '79 f-series, there looking really bad.

I suggest not used steel-wool. Thats why my wheels got real bad rust issues on my 79 f-150.

Try waxing the chrome after you wash it next time. It will keep dirt from sticking to it as easily, and prevents those little dots of rust that form where water spots dry after it rains.
