Damn Wheels

I let my girl wash my truck. Gave her specific intructions to leave the wheels alone well she "SPRAYED' her wheel cleaner on them. I just picked up some Wolfgang MetallWerk it was like $80. I was using Hot Rims but even that got me no place i then used mothers mag polish and got someplace. Now I don't have my drill so life sucks. I contacted the wheel expert on here and he said I have to take them off and polish them. This is how far I've gotten in 4 hours on 1 yes ONE wheel.

Yep, acidic wheel cleaners will ruin polished aluminum wheels. I assume it wasn't on the wheel long because normally they are etched.

Sonax did that?! It's very safe to use and regarded as one of the safest wheels cleaners. Very weird! Maybe the wheels were hot?

its good on factory coated wheels. Other than that polished Aluminum bad idea.

I want to get some rims like that also and polish them up with clay bars but I was wondering if there is a protective coating that could be applied like wax or something.
