It's been about 2 years since I detailed the engine so it really needed to be done.

I got it at murrays auto parts. Thats the only auto parts store that had it. If you can't find it anywhere else then google it. I know amazon had it for a pretty good price a while ago. Autozone carries a very similar product made by black magic. I might try that next after I run out of the CD-2.
I have my throttle body cover painted and it did what beach would do to clothing stained it.
Followed instructions and it looks the same to me not shiney at all
im gonna go ahead and order the stuff you used
thats your brake dust after 6 weeks? mine looks like that after 1 week... wow
im always a bit leary on detailing an engine, but i need to do it too, your truck looks great!! makes me want to wash mine, and i hate washing cars :)

Usually the wheels look worse but it rained a few times throughout the 6 weeks so most of it washed away. If it didnt rain they would of been black.
STL515273, thanks for the info on the black magic. I guess I will stick with the CD-2
You can find CD-2 at any Kragen, Schucks, Checkers, or Murrays auto parts. ( I should know, i work there lol) and it works really well and isnt very expensive at all.
All we got are Pepboys, Autozone, Orielly
We got one Bumper to Bumper right down the street I may hit it up friday and see if they carry it.
