Floor pan repair, caused by leak

Hello all. I have a 06 ranger I am looking to repair. It has a bad floor pan on the driver's side as a leak went unnoticed.i did check the drainage for the windshield but its clean. Possibly the windshield , rear window or the 3rd light seal failed. All 3 will be fixed.
I am looking into replacing the bad section of the pan but I haven't seen one for an 06. I have seen just the cutout for a 1983-1988 model, but I am uncertain if this will fit with or without modifications.
I also have seen you can get the entire pan but i dont know how you remove the entire pan.
I could patch it with fiberglass but that just seems lazy to me🤷‍♂️
id hate to have to replace the entire pan as it looks like you'd need to lift the cab , unless I'm wrong.
Would anyone have any words of advice for this?
Anyone tried the 80s panels on the newer rangers?

I've heard the older pans will work "good enough" but you may need to work on them a little for a better fit. But that's true for any replacement panel in all honesty.
