Jeep Rubicon paint correction detail

this is as good as detailing gets.

process took around 17 hours total.

started with a wash

took the fenders, tires, mirrors, gas door thing, other misc stuff off.

some spray polish and wax remover
clay
meguiars d3000 compound
menzerna sf4000 polish
spray polish remover
blackfire sealant
put all the stuff i took off, back on
chemical guys paste wax

some before pictures after the clay process

not sure what happened to this door, felt like overspray

after hitting a section a few times with the d3000

this is only after compounding, before polishing

quick comparison, (wasnt done with the door)

onto the after shots

Well, I can't wait until you scratch it...

Nah, just kidding. Very nice work... but with it being so fricking clean, it makes me think your Rubicon is crawling over Priuses at the mall, not wheeling like a Rubicon should..

and to you other guys that dont want it to get scratched, it will be a long time till it gets taken it. its more of a garage queen...... he's owned it for about 5 years and has put 2k miles on it. and tons of money into it.

My suspicion is correct... a mall Rubicon.

Ain't wheelin' like a Jeep should. But it isn't the first Jeep to not be wheeled. I know a guy that has a mint TJ that is immaculate, and is stock. He's selling that to fund a less beautiful TJ so he can build a nice off road Jeep.

he hasnt had the time for it, he has 6 other teryx's (utvs) that he plays with. 2 are fully built, 1 is getting built and the other 2 are stockers. he used to have a 67 cj6 that had 100 miles on it after he restored it, never used it cause right when he bought it he used the rubi.
