lightly rinse engine, use simple green scrub pad to wash/soap everything up, then rinse off again. Take a can of foaming tire shine... while engine is still wet (all soap rinsed off) spray everything. Engine bay should be covered with tire shine foam.. now close the hood and walk away. The next morning or and hour later it will look amazing!
