oil on seat
got oil for the truck. took a corner kinda fast and i guess the cap was busted and i lost an entire jug of mobil 1 on my passenger seat. ***IN pissed. shop vac does nothing. it's dripped through the fabric and through the foam and is dripping into a ziploc little container thingy. seat tracks slide nice though. anything i can do or new seat time.

You Will probably have to take the seat cover off and clean the foam thoroughly. An extractor (like Rug Doctor or better) will help. After you get out what you can, I suggest a layer of Dacron over the foam under the seat cover. You can wash the seat cover in the wash, but I would not use the dryer as it may shrink. It will take hog ring pliers and a little work to do it right, but if the seats are good - it is worth it in my opinion. Normally to clean interiors of something that won't harm foam (like petroleum products) or if it is just on the seat cover, I use encapsulant. It is quick, easy, and doesn't resoil. Hope it helps!
