Rustoleum

I used some cheap black spray paint on my rock sliders. I'm starting to notice some rust color in a few areas. It's barely noticeable but I want to touch it up a bit. I was wondering if respraying them with Rustoleum would prevent any more surface rust. It's just on the edges and corners where it's noticeable. I just want them to be black and not have to worry about a little rust color here and there. Thanks

Yes rustoleum is a very good paint. You may want to use their rusty metal primer also. I know this because i pre-finish exterior doors in this stuff every day.

I was actually going to ask a very similar question about using it for my Brush Guard because the rust is begging to really show.

If you do it, make sure you post some pictures, because I really want to see how it turns out before I take on the project

Rustoleum works awesome. When I made my light tabs (over 2 1/2 years ago) I sprayed them with Rustoleum primer and 2 coats of Rustoleum flat black and they look like the day I put them on. They went through three Chicago winters and are actually holding up better than the KC lights are.

I'll get around to doing it sometime when it starts to cool down here. I can't paint when it's over 100 degrees just too hot. I alwas heard that the stuff works great but I wanted a few opinions from the guys here. Thanks
