Super Shammy

I went to the boat/hunting show last night at bartel hall. It was amazing, but i found a soluton to water spots. Guy had a stand called super shammy. Dont know if you all heard of this but he did a demo. He dumped a 2liter coke bottle on about a 5x5 piece of carpet and put the shammy over it for about 10 secs and the coke was gone, carpet was like new. amazing.

I was given one as a present a year ago and it's still sitting in my closet. I won't be cleaning my truck for a few more weeks but when I do I mihgt give it a try.

I bought several of those things some time back. They are bad about leaving water streaks after they soak just a little water. If you wash it, and you can, don't throw it in the dryer. It will drastically shrink.

For me, nothing better than a real chamois. You know, the kind you spread out and it looks like the critter it came off of. They are a little pricey but one lasts me for several years. Keep it clean and it will do a great job.

also take note, carpet doesnt really hold THAT much liquid by itself, its the backing and padding that really soak up the liquid, and no towel is gonna get it clean. after dumping soda on carpet, it requires actually cleaning , soda is LAODED with sugar and sugar is very sticky
