I wash my truck every Monday and Friday. Clean the interior every other Friday.

The longest it has gone with out being cleanned, is prolly, now which is about 3 weeks.

It is driving me nuts, but I have little things to finish up, since I am doing the Herculiner.

 

I wash mine atleast 3x a week. the longest it went with out being washed was from 8/1/07 - 8/16/07 so about 15 days or so..... (it was being repaired) Tho i did do a FULL clean job, of the exterior, interior, engine compartment, under carriage, the works BEFORE i called a flat bed. so it went into the shop super clean, and sparkly... tho, being a body shop it got mondo dusty.... SO I have been working on that... just gotta detail the engine again and itll be clean... Ill tell ya, I hate workin on dirty vehicals... my turck will never be a 'dirty' vehical.... Hell i can change my oil, in a white shirt, and dress pants and not get dirty at all... I had the gasket go on my tranny pan and spent 2hrs scrubbing EVERYTHING dad said i had lost my mind and that i was absolutely crazy... but its now clean. and its purty... hell it still looks new on the underside!

 

I wash mine any time these 2 things happen: I have a day of AND rain is not predicted for at least 3 days.

Why do trucks Get dirty in the rain? It never happened on my car or on the van that sits right next to it. There all dark green too.

 

monday wash
wash outside
wash wheels
squeegee off water then towel dry
tire foam the tires
vaccume inside
shake floor mats
windex inside windows and mirrors
fresh coat of rainx
polish off any scratches or swirl marks
wipe down dash

I washed my truck today! lol

I was tired of crawling under it only to get a dirt bath. I felt pretty redneck washing a truck that has no front axle.

 

full detail without the waxing every monday. since i work for Mag, mondays are the day to wash your own vehicles. :) i love detailing.

wax once a month

 

I drove my truck to school like this for like 3 weeks before i got a warning for leaving to much mud in the parkinglot =]

after i went at it with the hose i drove it like this for about half a year



then now that im up in austin its alot cleaner than usual. lol..

this is when the paint still shined

 

same with me i wipe it down and use a quick detailer to get the waterspots off eather Lucas quick detailer or NXT

 

mine gets a bath when ever i feel like it lol. just washed it yesterday after about 8 months of not being washed. plenty of mud in each fender. dust n dirt everywhere.

 

I just cleaned mine up on thursday. Then I managed to park next too some sprinklers that went off over by my buddie's house. Oh well. I wiped it down and that shall suffice for now.

Im kind of at a every other week now with my truck just cause of work.

 

I will wash it when i get tired of it being dirty ha...I mean its black so its noticable real quick but i mean i dont care if its semi-but when it gets really bad ill just hose it down

i havent washed my truck since august 28th, 07. which was a wednesday, my trucks 3yr anniversary of me owning it. I planned to do a 'then - now' thing, but then dad died on sunday. i havent touched the truck with soap since. so about 3 weeks now. it needs to be washed waxed and interior detailed, but in all honesty, its like, **** it.

 

Every sunday weather permitting. I try to wax it once a month and do the inside every other week. A clean truck is a happy truck!

 

Pretty much everyother week I do the exterior and the interior. Once a month I wax.

 

I used to wash my truck at least 2x a week now it's when it's dirty enough that I can't stand it anymore or when there's to much break dust on the front wheels that the aren't shiney. I couldn't tell you the last time I cleaned my interior.

 

the longest i have ever gone was with my old s 10 and the clear coat was gone so i didnt care ... i think i went like 3 months.... trust me it sucked to clean it offf.. but sense i got the rngr i wash that sucker like every week....

 

Wash - atleast once every other week

Wax - Once or twice a month if I get to it

Detail - Every wash

Vaccum - When I cant stand the dirt and crap so that would be once or twice a month

Full Detail - Before carshows

Interior - The same as the vaccum

The longest would be about 2 or 3 months.

I hate the look of a dirty truck

 

Wash like once every 2 weeks. wipe down once a week. Wax once per season. 4x/yr. or wash after im done 4 wheelin and the big chunks of mud stuck to the side don't look cool anymore. DIY car wash to spray off pollen everyother day in spring. Bad pollen in SNJ.

 

The first Saturday in May, every May -- whether it needs it or not...

I like that schedule. I could almost handle that.

 

I usually wash the weekends accumulation of mud off on Sunday night after work, sometimes drive around with it muddy for a week. It's a truck ,it gets offroaded a lot, it isnt going to be to pretty.
