I'm looking at replacing my coil pack on my 2002 Ranger with a 2.3L. I noticed it had a small crack in it and wanted to replace it before it caused any trouble. Does anyone recommend a certain brand to run? One that may be better then the rest? Otherwise I'm just going to get the Ford brand because that's what it had.

I got the one from Autozone and it fixed my cracked coil pack weirdness.

 

What is that a common thing with these coil packs, getting a crack in them?
