I've come across a good deal, I have found an axlefrom a 03 edge for 150 bucks, its an 8.8 with 410 gears. Seals are all good. and just needs need brake pads. My question is , if I did a straight axle swap will all the connections be an easy switch over or are the connectors different? I'm referring to any sensor clips or the like. I just redid my seals last year so I don't really need the whole axle but since I plan on putting on an add-a-leaf this spring so that would be the time to swap it out. Any advice would be appreciated

 

I dont see why it wouldnt bolt right up. You gonna do the disc swap too?

Should be fine I put a rear end from a 2002ish in my 1993

 

I have a 2004 edge with a 8.8 with 4.10. I want to do the disc conversion but seems like it would be easier to do an axle swap if i can find one in good condition. I am assuming these are 28 spline can you confirm?
