Icon8 1999 Ranger 4x4 system

Ok, i have a stock 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 3.0 V-6. I live in Rhode Island and in December we had a pretty big snow storm. While plowing through a snow pile in 4x4 high i heard and felt POP, POP! I stoped got out and didnt notice anything wrong, got back in the truck and my rear wheels just spun. Next day i took it to work and put it on the lift. Started it up, put it in drive; first in 2wd then 4wd and everything engaged. The transfer case engaged, front drive shaft spun but that was all. I was thinking either the front diff went or i blew my auto hubs. Any suggestions or additional questions are welcome.
