2.5 Lima to 4.0 sohc
I have a 2000 2wd single cab 2.5 Lima 5 speed. Engine knock in bottom end . I also have a parts vehicle complete 1999 4.0 sohc explorer automatic 5r55e . What are necessary requirements to put 4.0 auto trans in place of bad 2.5 ? If some could point me to the right thread or tech advisor I would appreciate it
