2001 4.0 w/ 35" tires stalling.

My 2001 4.0 Edge with 35" tires has been intermittently stalling on me after I installed 35' tires. I re-geared to 4:56 gears hoping that would help out but the problem is still occurring. I replaced the speed sensor on the rear axle and that didn't help. The speedometer is operating but it is off a little. My question is have any of you guys encountered stalling after you installed large tires on your Ranger? Could the PCM need to be re-flashed so the computer knows that I have the larger tire and different axle ratio? Is it possible the oss needs to be replaced? The truck has thrown a code for tire/axle ratio incorrect before I re-geared but I made the swap to 4:56 gears and cleared that code and it hasn't occurred since. The stalling mostly happens when I'm coasting or coming to a stop. Thanks for any help.

Something else is going on here. A tire size change wouldn't cause the stalling. No current check engine light?
