Manual Hub Problems!!!

Well yes i do have th manual lockouts but their not the AVM ones their the Rugged Ridge ones. Not sure if it matters but i did crank my t-bars WAY before i bought these and i dont go off roading. the most stress i've put on them was pulling a 22 foot Hydrasport up a boat ramp and thats about it, and tellico 4x4 doesnt want to honor rugged ridges warranty.
Eric: by the inner cv axle bearings those are the ones inside the hub assembly that contacts the cv? both hubs are brand new also.
And tonight i put the truck on the lift at work took the tires off and went to take the lockers off and come to find out the part that 'holds' the cv is broken from the hub on the passenger side. so now i have a 3x4 and soon to be a 2x4

rugged ridge is the same as the avm hub.
and yes the bearing that the cv actually rides on in side the wheel hub. there are also those plastic "C" clips that hold the cv in place, ford charges about $40 for them. I would replace them. and sence that piece was broken the cv is able to pull away fron the back of the nuckle allowing mud/dirt to get to that bearing. When that happened to me i had to replace that hub even though the wheel bearing was still good.

also, those hubs are sometimes a ***** to get off with a screwdriver. I use paint lid openers, slide one in each opening so that when you slide it under the plastic clips the paint lid opener bends back toward you. if you have one in each slot then just tug back gently on all at the same time ant the hub will slide right off with no broken plastic clips.
