The amount that the axle bolt flange(at the wheel) should be able to slide in/out of the housing, when assembled. Does anybody know how much???? .125" or .025" or what... I want to put shims under the C-clip to limit this end play but don't want the c-clip to fall out and grenade the gearset. OR I may just have to buy new axles as the ends of the axles look worn where they ride against the spider gear pin .. Anybody been thru this?
