Ok ive done some searching and came up with mixed results.....
Im picking up a exploder 31 spline 8.8 3:73 gear l/s and disc Brakes this weekend

IS there any company out there that makes a lunch box locker for the 8.8 that came factory with the limitied slip....Everything I find says I have to have a open carrier.....

Thus do I have to buy a New Carrier....Or can I just yank the L/S out and put a locker in its place?

They offer 2 part numbers. One for l/s and one for open. Look at the application chart.
