91' V6 4.0L driveshaft replacement

Hi, I have two driveshafts and a swing bearing, I would like to replace with a single driveshaft. I have bought and installed 3 swing bearings in the past 2 years. I want to go to a junkyard and pull a driveshaft off of an old ford. My question is, What years work? Does it matter engine size, manual/auto. Or is it just length?

what do you have? i would assume ext cab..

you will need a truck of the same lenth.. if its 2wd then you have to be 2wd.. and vise versa...

measuring would be smart.. then you will prob have to use your flanges make sure the driveshaft has the same u-joint size as yours.. and it would have to be off a 98+ truck. then cut out your cross member that the mid shaft bearing rides on. it IS NOT structural
