95 manual transmission in 94 manual

Will a 95 transmission from a 2.3 fit in a 94 with a 2.3? I think it would because same block so it should have the same bell housing. Need answers

Yes, Ranger 2.3l from 1988 to 1997 used the same M5OD-R1(M5R1) transmission, if 2WD then speedo cable hook up is there, it was remove in 1998 and up, just FYI

Just a heads up
Make sure shifter/transmission is in NEUTRAL when you pull out the shifter or it will be a pain to put it back in
