I have a 1995 ranger 4wd 3.0 ranger that had the throw out bearing go bad in it. The truck has 160,000 miles on it and spent most of its life in PA but is now out stationed with me in CA. anyways everything under the truck has rust bad and I am trying to get the trans off. I managed to get the transfer case off but even that was a bear and had to be pulled of with 3 guys and 2 4 foot pry bars. I got everything unbolted off the trans and now I am having the same problem getting the trans off as the transfer case. I even unbolted the pressure plate thinking that the shaft was just stuck in the clutch but its just the case this stuck to the engine. has anyone ever had one stick on there this bad and if so any advice to get the thing off. This is day 4 working on and and my friends are getting sick of helping me haha.
