I need to swap the trans in my truck due to it slipping. Over the summer I picked up a 98 manual trans and all the fixins on a sweet deal. I was wondering if there is any way I can just use the same ecu in the 08, have it changed, and jurry rig a new trans harness so that I can just hook it up directly. I am not really sure of the compatibility but I figure it can be done as long as it is the same type of truck (3.0 2wd ext cab). Thank you!
