auto tranny go boom I think

well while in D it hardly moves and in first same deal, 2nd gear it can go well.

uh oh...

off topic: you missed out on a good offroading meet...I got stuck pretty bad...but it was fun. You woula liked it man! come out to the next one

Wish I could of gone man, my buddy mike said he saw a nice *** blue ranger, i was like yeaaahp thats one of the dude's from the forums he just got it done, says your truck is beautiful, i hope to see it soon heh.


btw any of you south florida guys know a good tranny shop, or know how to take one out ?

only tranny i know how to do is a 6spd for a 5.7l camaro heh.


If I can get help, i wouldnt mind going to u-pull it and getting a cheap one.

I got my old tranny done at Amco...they rock! cheap as hell and they did a good job. I went through 4 tranny's on a ~4-500hp motor...they landed the last one..it was awesome.

Which mike is it that you know?

You got Amco's number ?

so far its looking like I HAVE to get a rebuild because its auto. so far I have been told 1500 out the door and 1800 out the door.


A buddy of mine said for 1k out the door at a friends shop.

Im trying to score in the 500-600's, with me bringing them the tranny in.

theres a real good shop here in lakeland.. dunno how far u are away from lakeland or not.. but they are real awsome.. called shifters

damn, I got a c4 corvette tranny for my old car for 220 bux at the jy...I didn't even pull it myself.

put it on the back of pops pickup truck and hauled it to AAMCO...they charged me 1100 dollars for everything new...including 3500 stall converter, fluid, and install in the car...they were awesome.
