Automatic trans swap to a 5 speed manual

I just bought a 2003 4.0 Ranger 4x4. I keep chasing down a O/D OFF blinking light gremlin. And I was thinking it would be alot less of a hassle just to swap out my automatic trans for a 5 speed manual trans, any comments or suggestions?

The swap was the best mod I've done definitely worth it. Do a couple searches theres tons of threads on it.
