AVM FTMFL

Iv'e had the AVM's for about a month or two, only been mudding like 3 times. The mudding that i did do was p*ssy. I don't understand how they could already be ****ed up. This is how they are messed up: i pulled one off my truck and began to turn it to lock and free, well it wasn't catching and locking everytime. so sometimes when i turn it to lock it really doesnt lock. WTF!!!!!!! if there is a way to fix them w.o having to spend another $150 please let me know. thnx

Have you taken the hub apart to look at it? It might have gotten hit or bumped and slid out a little bit.

well i took one out already and that's how i figured out that it wasnt locking, it's like it slips when i turn it to lock. And i noticed yesterday that the driver side hub is REALLY hard to lock and unlock. So with that said, i may just order a new set. idk yet.

If your wheelbearings are going bad it will allow the axle to have a lot more slop and that can effect how the hubs work or even break them like mine did.

Make sure they are clean inside of any dirt or mud. They need to seal up good to keep debrit out of them and only use a light coating of oil inside them....no grease.

I have the same problem. I've gone through 3 sets of avm hubs, and i got 2 sets on warentee. I have a lot of axle play on the passenger side so i think im gonna replace that wheelbearing.
