vent extension
Hey guys, im used the search function and got nothing. it might have gotten deleted or something but im just looking on directions or something on how to do the vent extensions for the axle and tranny so i dont have another problem with the tranny or anything when/if i ever take the truck out again

If you have an automatic transmission, there is an access pannel under the cupholder. I was sound deadning my truck so the pannel was easy to get to. Here it is removed.
There will be a little nipple sticking at the rear of the transmission. Pry the little metal cover off.
Attach a length of hose, and secure it with a hose clamp.
Run the hose wherever you choose. I ran mine to the engine compartment. Note that it is possible to do this without removing the pannel. I tried it, and it was possible, just much more difficult to see what you're doing.
