Axle Swap

Anyone ever swapped the axle out of an older F-150 into a ranger? Just wondering if its worth it and cheaper than doing a regear plus i think they are 9 inch's aren't they?

ohhh...well you didn't mention that!

anywho...a regear is probably in order anyway. Some axles have 3.07's in them.
