Front wheel Noise?(revisited)

alright i still cant figure out this noise on the front driverside.....

Did you check back of the rims to see if there is rubbin? Brakes, lugnuts>

You got aftermarket wheels maybe that the problem, do you have a stock wheel?? put that on and spin it..

Thats a weird sound man, you have any witness marks on the back of your wheel from it hitting? Have you checked your wheel bearing/hub for issues. Grab the wheel at 6 and 12 push on one and pull at the other. Is there any play? The front CV shaft rubber makes noise too could that be it?

yes it did it with the stock wheel and the spare tire as well......nothing is rubbing on the wheels..i will go do the 6 o clock and 12 o clock thing and let you know.

all the above...lol i done understand any of it.
i think that grinding type noise is just the rotor or whatever....iam talking about that boink........boink....boink.....

yea the grinding is the rotor/pad contacting. mine does that.

as for the boink, i would grabs the CVs and jerk them around see if you have play, same with the driveshaft.

also have someone else spin the wheels while you go around and get closer to objects to see if you can narrow it down.

does it make the sound while going down the road?

yes it makes the sound....u can hear it while 'crusing" but when i hit the brakes lightly it stops...its weird......

how worn are your pads? sounds like a bad bearing..

i dont know much bout ball joints but could that be it too?

is your alignment out?

take the brakes and rotors off, check the dust shield behind the rotor

pads are 20k miles old..
i was told all my ball joints on the suspension are good.......dunno about the wheel bearing though.......

check this..

does your passenger side do it..if it doesnt..start lookin for things that are different..i mean they should be the same to a point..and see if you see soemthing loose broken worn smelly ugly..or something

see if the dust shield is bent causing it to hit other stuff. that doesnt sounds like wheel bearings to me.
