well im kinda arguing if it will work without some mods. ive read about people using the 1354 manual cases from a bronco and putting them in a ranger, but can i reuse the same linkage on it without much of a modification to my new ranger? because i dont have a ranger shift mech on hand and i cant find one lol i might need to make something if nothing comes up around here

LOL. Too funny.

Yeah you would need the correct extension housing and shift bushings and blah blah.
