Hello, And sorry but i've never owned a 4x4. My question is ,i'm buying a 87 ranger with a 302 ,c4 in it, out of a low 90s mustang. i have been told the trans is wrong for the 4x4. is there a differacne in c4 for a mustang and a 4x4.And what are they? I thought i could just add a transfer case and change the drive shafts,:boggled and go back to 4x4. now it seems i have to change out the trans. HELP!
