it makes an even low crawl ratio. kinda like a multiplier, hints the name doubler.

what are you going to use for driveshafts ? custom ones ? How exactly do you connect up the second transfer case, isn't there a custom plate of some kind inbetween them(or what else do you need) ?

I doubt i would ever really need it for the wheeling i do the thought of a doubler in my truck just seems cool.

one day I will do it. it would be nice to have a extreme low range for more control. how long do you think our front axle would last with that much added torque.

honestly, not long at all. its gonna probably go in when the sas is in progress. ive smoked a few cv's locked front and 33s so i doubt it would hold up too well. just depends on driving style i guess. theres a couple kits for doublers on the market for us, im currently talking to a guy that makes one of em to sort of let me do payments. his kit is 350 it includes harded 4340 shaft and the plate that lets you clock the tcases every 6 degrees, which will be awesome cause i can get a full belly plate under there!

billy (gatorblue)- our stock tcase low range is 2.48:1. with two cases the low range would be almost 5:1 which is a pretty good crawl ratio...

ben- lengthening and shotening driveshafts isnt too expensive, but since im doing it all at once, ide need a new front anyway. so itll work out nicely...

Will you be able to engage the doubler seperately from the T-case ?

Where did you get your kit from ?

i havent gotten the kit yet, its a company called D.D. machine.

itll be like and independent tcase shift wise
so technically i will hav 4hi, 4low, 4low-low, and 2 low.

so if the coublers in neutral the 1354 will shift like normal...

It might seem weird but honestly I have been in few campgrounds where the 2wd low would have been perfect. Maybe when i get my gears in they will do the same job.
