master or slave?
ok, so. i started my truck about a week ago. which i can't drive yet cuz i lost my license and im hoping to get a work permit or whatever. but i tried to put it in gear while it was running, and it wouldn't go into gear for its life. and you have to push the pedal like all the way to floor before it even starts to disengage the tranny or whatever.
so what do you think i need a slave cylinder or master cylinder. im gunna try to get a license so i can drive to work and i have to fix this before i do anything.
how difficult is it to swap out this part. and is there a how-to on it or something..
thanx alot guys.

older than that, some were internal, some were external.

yes, it is 94 manual with the 4.0 if that helps.it doesn't look like its leaking, and the last time i checked the clutch fluid resivoir or whatever, it was full. next time im at my dads house i'll double check it. i want to get it driveable while i have the cash and don't blow it on something stupid like...ohh idk, new door speakers..or headlights...oh man, im starting to want other things now, great haha. anywho...thanx for the replies so far. anyone else have a clue what it is? and how much it's gunna cost me for the part?
