king pins

Hello I'm the proud owner of a 78 ford ranger 150 4wd 351m and I need some help

I was told by that i need to replace the king pins or maybe king pin bushings and i cant seem to find ones for my truck i can only find ones for the 2 wheel drive version not 4 wheel drive

so here's my question will the 2 wheel drive ones work or is there a place where i can get the 4wd so far i can only find some untrustworthy looking sites

ps. sorry if this is the wrong forum i don't know much about this stuff

Well your ranger is really a f150, this site is geared toward the later small body trucks.

However being Ford guys. Your 4wd f150 has a dana 44 front which never came with kings pins. It has ball joints.

King pins were used on the dana 60 front in certain years and makes. Which came in some f250's and most f350's.

Kingpins were only used in 2 wheel drive trucks.
