Did the old manuals have hydo clutches ? I really love wheeling with a manual but I really hate hydro clutches. I am thinking about building up an old gen and I am trying to get ideas for the drivetrain.

i know all the way back to a '95 they did......but every trans from '95+ will interchange behind a 4.0...

switch to a mustang tranny... they arent hydraulic

I am 99% Sure My Girls 84 has a Hydro Clutch, I won't swear to it as it has been years since I seen it. In my minds eye it is right there on the firewall.

yeah I know, my 97 cobra mustang is not and there is just something different about it, in a good way. Ever since my ranger I hate hydro cluches.

yea all rangers are hydro clutch systems.
