So, I got a 1999 Ford Ranger. Everything is stock and has an automatic transmission. I just bought the truck used and draining the fluids. I noticed the differential drain plug is stripped really bad. I was wondering if they sell after market differential covers with a fill and drain plug? Thanks.

Mac makes one but I have it and its a POS. Also check to see what axle you have. 8.8 or 7.5.

 

You've got a diff drain plug? I assume aftermarket cover?

diff drain plug. Does it drain or does it plug....or both. So many options

but ruffstuff makes one for the 8.8, might be a little heavy duty for you but an option
