Summit Racing has these axles listed from Moser Engineering as replacements for the Ford 8.8 rear.

It has the spline count listed at 31 splines which is awesome because I need a replacement axle shaft.

Would these work on a 2003 FX4 LVL II rear?

Well the years on that link go from 1993-1997.. which the level II was not around at that point. So that 31 spline axle would most likely be for the explorer 8.8 31 spline of those years. My understanding is that the explorer 8.8 is slightly wider than the ranger 8.8.. so that might make a difference when looking at axle shafts.

A Level II 31 Spline axle feels like looking for the unicorn of Ranger parts.
