Driveline HELL

I've about had it with this driveline. was almost positive the noise i had was my rear end, so i swapped it. noise still there.

further diagnosis says center bearing and u joints. I was driving to my shop to take the driveshaft off to have it re-built and BOOM. loud clunky noise, MASSIVE vibration, could barely hold the wheel, dome lights cover fell off lol.
i was able to slowly inch it downhill to a parking lot in neutral and park it.
found part of the rubber seal or whatever it is from the center bearing on the road where it happened.

now my truck is stuck in a lot, i have to pull the driveshaft there so i can pull it home, and its raining for the first time in 30 days!

oh crap, was about to suggest jsut pulling out the rear and putting it in 4x.. but your not running a 4x4 :-(

Bad news when that happens bud - I really hope it doesnt set you back too far money and time wise!

But, as a side note, the rain actualyl feels quite good after it not raining for a while =) Nice breath of fresh damp air!
