i have been thinking about getting a locker and i think i want eaton's e-locker. does anybody have any experience with these or know anything about them? pros? cons? thanks.

 

I have the e-locker. I like it, locks everytime I push the button. Had it for over a year now with no complaints.

A negative is the cost of installation since the gears have to be setup again for the install.

I paid $1300 for the locker, gears, master install kit, and labor. I got the locker itself for $575 but the place I got it from doesn't seem to sell it anymore and I haven't seen it that cheap again. You should be looking at roughly $300 for the labor to install one of these. I did all the wiring myself though so that saved me some.

 

yea. i probably will have to have the wiring done too. when it comes to wiring i freaking suck unless it comes with step-by-step directions. lol.
