Electronic 4x4 trouble

OK I need some help. My elcetronic 4x4 will not work. Usualy I turn the switch and it clicks in but now theres nothing. I checked the main fuse under the hood, the two related in the cab fuse pannel and they all were good. So i read that other ownershad their motor freez up so I pulled mine off and it seems fine. Though the plug just before the motor shows now signs of eletric to any of the points in the plug. Anyone out there have a sugestion? Please...

OK I figured out a little about my situation. After several hours of trial and error I found my 4x4 slector switch is not reciving electric current. So my new question to the many electrical pros here how can I fix this?

Did u check the fuses? Not making fun but sometimes people overlook the somple stuff.

U might need a new 4x4 control module. My switch and module went out at 65,000.

Heres info that may help. Pm me your email and ill send a complete diagnostic info.

Measure the voltage between 4WD control module C281a, pin 1, circuit 931 (OG) and ground; and between 4WD control module C281a, pin 2, circuit 704 (DG/LG) and ground.

l Are both voltage measurements greater than 10 volts?

Measure the resistance between 4WD control module C281a pin 7, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground; and between 4WD control module C281b pin 2, circuit 570 (BK/WH), harness side and ground.

l Are both resistances less than 5 ohms?

Yes I did, that was the first thing I looked at. Checked the one under the hood in that box and then the two fuses related to 4x4 in the other fuse box.

What exactly does the controle module consist of?
