will a 88 ford ranger with a 5 speed fit in a 92 ranger with a automatic

some info what engines do the trucks have? are you putting a manual tranny into a truck thats automatic? if so theres quite a bit of work involved

i was just wondering if i could convert my 94 ford ranger automatic to a standerd tranny.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but if you have a six, then you would most likely have an A4OD. If this is the trans that you have, you can upgrade to an A4LD. If the 94 has a 4r44e or a 5r44e, then it would not work.
