Didn't know 05 had a manual t-case....
with that is it off a ranger? a 1354m?
Look up under your truck to see if you have threaded bungs on the drivers side of the tailhousing (the one on right):
If not, you'll need to buy a one (super expensive), or buy the conversion bracket i made https://www.ranger-forums.com/f54/ma...ket-mo-104927/.

02-03's are the only modern Rangers with Manual T-cases and they're very tough to find. Here is my manual T-case swap.

There are a few pics and a complete list of everything you'll need.

Hey Kris...
It wouldn't be an 05 it came out of. But anywho.....just find yourself a 90-97 Explorer or Ranger or BII 1354 manual Tcase and toss it in. Buy this bracket from this guy.....it allows you to use the 1354 tcase linkage on a non-manual tcase transmission...
My brother, Dangerranger01, actually made those brackets and modeled them after my truck with the correct tailhousing.
clicky... https://www.ranger-forums.com/f54/ma...ket-mo-104927/

Yes, this is the same bracket Dangerranger01 was selling. Turns out I had the means to mount the linkage already and didn't need the bracket.
Here's a link to the original sale thread and TrePaul's build thread.
https://www.ranger-forums.com/f54/ma...dapter-104072/
https://www.ranger-forums.com/f42/tr...thread-103984/
NOTE: Check to make sure you do or don't have the thread bosses on the driver side of your transmission before purchasing. If you don't have them, you'll need this bracket to mount a manual transfer case linkage.
The price is going to be $75 shipped same as what I paid.
Grant doesn't know if he will be making more of these so it might be a good idea to ****** this up while its available.

I found my complete Lvl II setup by using Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market. If you find a donor truck make sure you get everything from it. Here is a list
RCM cover
t-case and tranny shifters
shift bezel and boots
floor plate (bolts to the floor under the carpet)
tailshaft housing
T-case
T-case linkage.
Last but not least the Speed sensor for a Lvl II. I didn't get one with mine and good luck finding a new one.
Thats if you want to do it with all the "correct" parts. I know I've found at least 2 yards one in New York and the other up in Michigan or somewhere around there that have Lvl II twin stick trucks. What I did was I bought the T-case and got the yard to throw in all those other parts for free. :)
