finished my clutch job

well, as some of you may know, i had a problem with my clutch not disengaging when my truck warmed up. Me and a buddy got it all torn apart and found, of coruse, a bad slave cylinder. internal leak. i think it was a defective part when we put it in last year, because with the new slave, my pedal pushes to the floor with so much more ease. also changed the rest of the parts while we were in there.

there was brake fluid all over the black ring on the bottom of the throwout bearing.

There wasn't to much life left on the clutch anyways. And i'm really wishing i had just dished out the extra $$$ for a OEM ford slave. cause i put another of the same brand in. but it is working great right now, and hopefully for thousands of miles to come (knock on wood!!!)

I've actually had no luck with Ford slaves. I've had two Ford slaves that crapped out at 60k each. We'll see with the latest though.
