front end squeal

my 99 ranger has had a squeal develop about a year ago, it came and went but now it has seemed to come back a tad louder. it sounds kinda like a warped rotor how it gets louder and quiet and speeds up as i go faster. i thought it was the brakes but i noticed it dosent change when i hit the brakes. it is a 4 wheel drive. the only thing i have noticed it when i rotated my tires the axle was a tad bit tough to free spin. and it feels like my tires are low when i drive, like they are vibrating more. any suggestions? all i have done is cranked the t-bars in the front, no lift on it. and i got it checked by the shop to make sure it was alligned right.

I'd guess the hub as well. I can't see it being a warped rotor as you'd feel it in the pedal.

Hub or maybe ball joints. If you have play it could be either.
