Well that was a THOROUGH run down of the details, thanks, Adrian!

I don't think I want Boggers -- well, I do, but I don't want to use them daily, if you know what I mean. I'm ready to tolerate more noise and roughness -- but I don't think I'm comfortable with the vagaries of a big, bias ply tire.

Yea John, boggers are the way to go if you just use them for wheeling. But than you have to take them on and off on and off and than how far is your wheeling area? I have 5 places within 30miles so I can make the 30 mile bogger loud boncing rough ride every so offer. Anything more than that I would have to change when I got to the trail, and that sucks. But i got that paper route for truck money so why not have the badest of the badest tires if they are off-road only.

Yup, about what I would expect. I'm surprised to hear you say the ABS worked as well as it did. I find my ABS somewhat less than predictable at times on snowpack when in 4x, even w/ just my stock LS in the rear. It seems obvious that Ford designed the ABS primarily for use in 2x. I just wish they had designed it to be disabled when in 4x.

I hear you Colin, its not like the abs can work correctly while in 4x4 anyway.

Additional questions

OK So are those 33's you have on your stock Ranger?

Also where do I get this 40 Series Flowmaster everyone is talking about?

Also I jsut noticed my front diff has a slight leak! I noticed a few tiny drips a couple of days ago...got underneath and it appears to be coming from the cover in the front. I noticed Ford in their infinite wisdom tried to seal it forever with some goopy silicone or something all over the place. Maybe they missed a spot on mine? What do you guys think?

Oh and seeing your Summer pics and Winter pics...makes me want to move to New Mexico... I presume you're in the northern part up in the mountains a little?

Perhaps someday I'll at least get to make a trip out there. Best of both worlds in my opinion!

Look up flowmaster's web there are details about their mufflers. 40 series is the most comon muffler for some good sounding exhausts. I got the delta series which is suppose to give less cab noise.

Run it into the ford dealership and have them fix it b4 you run out of warranty. One can do it themselves but it does take some work to pull the front axle so you can get to the cover.

New Mexico is the best place to live. You get it all. Beautil blue skys 345 days a year. Mountain's all around the state. Mild winters and NO humity, oh thats the best. I don't know how you people handle that humity. I live right in the middle of the state, albuquerque. We had about 1-2 inches of snow in the city, drive out 30 miles to the mountains and 12-15 inches of snow its GREAT.

Sweetness

Thats awesome man, good to hear you're loving your Ranger and have fun with it more often than most of us would like.

Yes I'm going to try and get to dealership this week before I go to Centralia with the others. It seems like its coming from differential cover, there are streaks along bottom of housing which says its dripping while I'm driving?
Luckily I have 12,000 more miles if I get really lazy LOL...

Oh and fortunately we usually only have about 1 month of 70% or higher humidity here in Ohio...but yes that month SUCKS ***...its no wonder they call New Orleans the Big Easy cuz no one wants to do sh**.
