Going to be doing some towing
So soon Im going to be doing some towing outa state and back a few times this summer. Ill be towing a Jet Ski along with gear and so on. I know the weight isnt to bad but the heat of where Ill be going is intense.
Sooooooo I want to do some upgrades thatl put less strain on my tranny and engine and help keep everything cool but I'm not sure what to do.
All I have so far that would somewhat help is its regeared to 4:56's

- Regear should be standard your auto and 35's thats enough alone to go to 4.56 minimum because your 3.0L
- Next Trans Temp Gauge is a MUST for towing.
- here for coolers Search Results for Trans - SummitRacing.com
- also Trailer brakes will help with stopping
Iv been looking through the trans coolers, any tips on one I can use along with the one I have now?
And brakes! Its a small trailer but Iv always wanted to get rid of those drums. I rememmber there was a site to buy the kit but I cant remmember the name lol.
And ya I already have gears and recently changed all the fluids in my truck to help with cooling,

Pick out the largest cooler you can afford and fit in front of your radiator. You can use it inline with your current cooler, but I personally wouldn't bother. Remove the factory cooler and put an aluminum aftermarket on.
No. your stock cooler is in front also its made just like a radiator and flows air threw it to the radiator
