Grinding/Crunchy noise when braking

Hey guys,

Just noticed about a week ago but when I am pressing on the brake hard I get a crunchy, grinding noise. It almost sounds like the ABS. The strange thing is that It happens more when the truck is heated up and it does not have to be driven to do this. I can sit In park and press on the brake and it makes the noise. It gets worse the harder I push on the brake. I checked the front brakes when I was doing plugs and didn't see anything odd. The rear brakes are all new as of March. Anyone have any ideas? Could some of the linkages get rusty and make sort of a crunchy noise when you are pressing on the gas? I'm lost on this one.

my brake booster makes a crunching noise other than that, check the shims on the brake pads.
