help with gear selection

I hear some shops will claim there will be gear whine no matter what, with aftermarket gears. I'm not sure if it is because they suck at installing them or what the deal is.

well maybe i cant hear that range of whine but there isnt that much science/precision into changing gears. im definitely not a professional by any means but I havent gotten any whine from the installs i have done.
