Help plz, I got a picture

sometimes when i take off in frist gear it makes a loud bang noise.
I've been using 2nd gear to take off with no promblems.its a 99 with a 3.0, any ideas what it is???

look like tranny seal needs replacing, how your tranny oil level? do you have to top it off regularly?

for starters that seal is BLOWN out, the output bushing could be too. can you move the driveshaft up and down in the tailshaft housing of the trans? also check the fluid level, you will need a 15/16" wrench
